Upright Stance sells posture correctors, lumbar belts, knee and ankle supports and recovery gear — the sort of thing you reach for after a decade at a desk, a bad landing on a run, or a diagnosis that came with the words “try a brace”.
How we think about it
Support gear is unglamorous and easy to sell badly. The category is full of miracle claims, invented star ratings and photographs of people who have clearly never worn the product. We have tried to build the opposite of that.
So: every product page states the measurement range it actually fits, because the single biggest reason a brace disappoints is that it is the wrong size. We describe what a product is made of and how it fastens rather than what it will cure. And we say plainly that these are general wearable supports, not medical devices — because they are not, and a shop that blurs that line is not one you should trust with your back.
How we keep prices where they are
Our products are made by manufacturing partners overseas and shipped directly from their facilities to you. That is why delivery takes two to four weeks rather than two days, and it is also why a reinforced lumbar belt costs $69 here instead of $130. We would rather be upfront about that trade-off than pretend to a warehouse we do not have.
Getting help
If you are unsure which size to take, measure the joint you want to support and send us the number through our Contact page. We will tell you which size to order, including when the answer is that we do not have one that fits you.
